Tim Bury, VP of IT EMEA Sales, London

Tim BuryOver 10-plus years, I have been fortunate to work through the Sales ranks from a junior salesperson to currently the VP of IT Sales for Europe. This has involved six changes of role with five years of individual sales targets and five years of management increasing in scope through time. Success over the years has been well-rewarded, and I have been privileged to work with many talented people who have made this possible.

I never imagined working at any organization for more than 10 years, as it went against my own original advice. So what was different? At the end it comes down to many things, but in particular, it is about feeling the energy to come to work each day, being challenged, being listened to, and an overall culture where people come before company and opportunities are offered based on merit. Needless to say, the people are incredibly bright and the work is highly interesting, as it is focused on the important issues clients face in their roles in order to be successful and their organizations thrive.

The work is challenging and rewarding. If you are passionate about what you do, embrace change, are hard working, and value a "people culture," Forrester may well be the place for you.

Meaghan Harrigan, Account Development Manager, Marketing & Strategy Client Group, Cambridge, Mass.

Meaghan Harrigan-1I have been with Forrester for three years now and in such a short time, I have really grown my career. Having joined Forrester as a recent college graduate, I was excited to start my career at such a well-respected company. My first role on the Client Services team helped me learn how Forrester is organized. During that time I discovered my passion for sales. Forrester allowed me to pursue that passion, first on the Events sales team and now in my current role as an Account Development Manager within the Marketing & Strategy client group. My favorite part of working at Forrester is my coworkers. I have met so many intelligent, fun, and energetic people during my time here. There is a great corporate culture built on collaboration. I look forward to continuing my career growth here at Forrester.

Mike Kazarnowicz, Account Manager, Tech Industry Client Group, Cambridge, Mass.

Mike KazarnowiczJoining Forrester is to join a company that is always evolving and looking for new ways to provide value to our clients. As such, there are always new opportunities for professional growth. I've been at Forrester for five great years and have held a number of roles in the sales organization. I appreciate that Forrester's culture promotes a great work-life balance. I know I'm going to be challenged and learn something new every day, yet I'll be able to do the things I enjoy outside of the office such as training for triathlons. Being in the business of selling ideas and information can be a challenge, but it is immensely rewarding. Every day I get to work with and learn from Forrester thought leaders and then bring that knowledge to my clients to help them with their most important decisions.
