Research Focus

Simon is the vice president, CIO Group at Forrester, responsible for the ongoing management, growth, and development of Forrester's Leadership Board of more than 400 CIOs worldwide. Prior to assuming this role, he was vice president and research director for the Infrastructure & Operations and Security & Risk research teams, and held that position since 2006. Before that, Simon was a principal analyst on the team covering personal computing, mobility, and client virtualization. For the past three years, Simon has developed and hosted Forrester's IT Forum EMEA. He joined Forrester in 2000 as an analyst covering enterprise application integration and Web services.

Previous Work Experience

Prior to joining Forrester, Simon was service director, application platform strategies at the Burton Group. He also spent 10 years in technical book acquisitions and publishing with Addison Wesley and McGraw-Hill.

Education

Simon holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island in English and political science.
